“Long Live Wivi Lonn!” Exhibition May 8-June 1, 2023 (excluding Sundays and holidays)

From May 8th to June 1st, 2023, the exhibition “Long Live Wivi Lonn!” is being held at Waseda University Nishi-Waseda Campus.
This exhibition travels to Japan from the year-long exhibition held at the Finnish Architecture Museum in Helsinki, Finland.

Finland's first independent female architect, Wivi Lonn (1872-1966) was active during the National Romanticism period of Finland's independence.
Along with the exhibition of her architectural education for women at the time, you can see panel explanations, videos, videos, and models of 10 buildings she designed and many school architectural works. Please come and visit us.
On May 22nd (Monday), a reception will be held at the venue from 19:00, and Anna Autio, curator of the architectural museum, will give a remote lecture from Finland.
