Message from Professor Tanaka

I returned to Waseda University for the first time in 20 years. Since 2005, I have been involved in a wide range of activities in Kumamoto, Kyushu, mainly in architectural design, town development, recovery from the Kumamoto earthquake, and TanaPa, but I would like to take advantage of that experience and plan for new activities. In today's uncertain and ever-diversifying society, I would like to work with you to think about what kind of architecture and urban space design should be, and put it into practice.
